One of my resolutions for the new year is definitely to blog more often. You have to excuse my absence for the past 2 months, obviously I was not born with the gift of being able to maintain a social life and blog simultaneously. THIS WILL BE THE YEAR OF CHANGE (ha!).
During the month of November, I was busy prepping for my end of year exams (look, if law was that easy then we would all be lawyers), as well as the endless amount of end-of-year birthdays, events and celebrations. Then came December, where I took a month long trip with my circle of friends to Thailand and Vietnam!
For New Years Eve this year, I spent it with my 2 bestest friends in the whole world. We went to catch fireworks in the city, had a picnic (accompanied by wine) and talked about what a fantastic year that was 2012....
1) Got a part-time job educating the young minds of our future tomorrows, with the help of these lovely ladies.
2) Joining oz-tag and meeting these amazing people (2 seasons, and going strong!)
2) Seeing two of my favourite DJ's play at Marquee, Sydney
3) Thailand and Vietnam with some of my fav people
4) Queensland and Hamilton Island
5) First designer purchase
6) Europe with mumma
7) Hiking with my fav girls.
8) First Costco first
9) Cold Play and Cirque Du Soleil
10) Fundraising for RSCPA Cupcake day, raising more than $4000!
Last but not least, spending NYE and the rest of my life with these two lovely ladies.
This year I also:
- Completed my second year of B Laws & Communication with a credit average (distinction this year?)
- An internship with MAXMEDIALAB. I have met some wonderful people and had the best mentor during my time there, very grateful for the opportunity.
- Probably had froyo 52 times (that's at least once a week, but wasn't in the country for a few months, so 3 times a week...)
- Endless list of festivals, raves, events, birthdays. These sound pretty average, but the love of music overcomes it all. It bought me closer to people I didn't think I would be friends with, and nothing unites people more than music (or love!... Or the love for music!)
I will carry the memories I have made this year to my grave.
