Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, of course, blogs. Just about every single social media site available to us have been non-stop the last week for New York Fashion Week. For us less fortunate, we have joined in the celebrations from the comfort of our couches. Bloggers quick to upload the latest photos from the run way, Intagram flooded with the coolest (and not so coolest!) street style snaps, and of course constant updates on my Twitter feed on "structure/colour/lines/delicacy/beautiful/etcetcetc" of each collection.

Here are a few of my favourite collections previewed for S/S13:

Jason Wu S/S13
My god, he never fails to take my breath/heart/mind away. Wu is the epitome of perfection, and all that is right in the world of fashion. Delicate tulle and lace always a staple in his collection, gently prancing down the cat walk. Well cut silhouettes that seem to pull and tug at all the right places, feminine embroidery with a simple colour pallet that can bring these gems from work to play. Definitely my fav show by far.

Calvin Klein S/S13
Francisco Costa has been hitting all the right notes for the past couple of seasons. In keeping with Calvin Klein's simplistic clean cut looks, there's a certain glam factor added with the sweetheart mickey mouse ears-esque necklines, don't you think?

Rodarte S/S13
How can this season be THAT flawless?! Rodarte is no exception to that, going all out with print on print, thigh high splits (I'm actually really excited this trend is back in!), and THAT HARNESS. Words, I have none.

Helmut Lang S/S13
Sport lux at its most lux. Leather panels with fine silk, mesh intertwined, asymmetrical done right. Nicole and Michael Colovos experimented this season with graphical prints and colour, as opposed to their usual minimalistic approach. But they did it oh-so-right with bright colours and architectural angles, along with simple/minimal make up and hair that complimented each outfit so well. I tip my hat to thee.

What's your favourite shows or looks from New York Fashion Week 2013? Who do you think had the best hair or make up? Any model loves?

Stay tune, we're forward bound to London Fashion Week: Recap.
