Dion Lee S/S13
Lee is without a doubt my favourite Australian designer. My kangaroo/koala version of Jason Wu. Since winning the Woolmark prize earlier during the year, Lee has been kept busy for the preparation of his second LFW show (first previewed last A/W13 season). Luxurious sporty leather separates opened the show - tell me who feels we're going to be seeing a lot more white leather? Rough styled biker jackets paired with feminine sheer panelled dresses was the ultimate juxtoposition. Despite his new experimentation with shape and structure, Lee remained true to his signature clean and structured style, which I myself like many others have come to love.

Preen S/S13
Minimal make up and effortless hair allowed all the focus to be on the fine detailing on the clothes for Preen S/S13. There's something that's so endearing with the re-work of a crisp white collared shirt, with sheer panelling becoming an obvious trend this season. It was the first time Preen aka Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi has showed in London in 5 years, having previous shows for New York Fashion Week instead. Welcome back.

Matthew Williamson S/S13
Matthew Williamson possibly does the best catwalk to RTW collections. This party-pants collection will definitely brace the carpets and all that alike. Drawing his inspiration from India, there were plenty of prints, brights and weaves, including traditional Indian tapestry embroidery. I wish this was my closet *cry*. Hey, we can dream can't we?

Burberry Prorsum Menswear S/S13
No London Fashion Week is complete without Christopher Bailey. This is my favourite show from the week. The creative mastermind behind the brand has gone into a bit of an overhaul, leaving behind the days of mono/neutral toned walk-in-that-London-rain coats, instead opting for wow-that's-a-bit-bright in-your-face foil and silk pieces. Loving the subtle pop of brights on the collar for the first photo. Metallic leather blouses, foil wrapped trenches and long line shirts all adding this sci-fi feel. People, the future is here.
