Admittedly I, like everyone else, had a tiny macaron obsession phase. It's difficult not to conform sometimes, especially when they're cute little delicate French biscuits. I've heard many good reports from CreAsion and they did not disappoint, with 30+ flavours to choose from! Where do you even start?
Macaron tower
Creasion in located in a small alleyway, unseen by many but very popular amongst those suits who work around. Many people came down during morning tea to grab a coffee and a quick sweet pick-me-up. The inside is quite small, seating 8-10 people maybe.
Box of 14 for $36(aprox?)
I chose a box of 14, trying new flavours and sticking some good ol' reliable ones. From what I remember; lychee, lavender, strawberry milkshake, caramel, thai milk tea, green tea, vanilla, black sesame, hazelnut, passionfruit... and three other ones I've forgotten ^_^"
They have a lovely crunch but are still soft and airy, with a nice chew. The flavours were great, they weren't too sweet (which I actually hate, for someone with a sweet tooth) and so aren't too sickening if you have too many in one go (with tea, of course!). Some say they are a bit small, however I much prefer these smaller pieces so you can try more without the sugar overload.
These were fab, and I would definitely revisit again to see what new flavours they would have installed!
There's a little kitchen and when you look over the countertop you can see the little shells baking inside the oven. Everything is made in store and they have new flavours every week. Excited to come back to see what new creaSions they come up with!
