Review & Swatch: Rimmel Eye Shadow Quad

Two weeks into Spring already, folks! However, I have yet to put on my floral dress and sandals. What's up with this Sydney weather!? This quad is very much how I feel about my wardrobe right now, neutral basics with a pop of colour to brighten anyone's eyes (see what I did there).

The names of each colour isn't given but as the photos, they are pretty true to the shade. Clockwise from top left is a metallic coppery shade, a bright white highlighter/base, a beautiful deep shimmery aquamarine, and finally a burnt brownish earthy shade. The colours compliment really well together, using the white as base, copper on outer V area of eye, dark brown to contour eyes and finally a sweep of blue. Alternatively use the blue on lower lashes for that great pop of colour, latest trend right now!

As always, I suggest using a eyeshadow primer or base to make the colours more vibrant and stay put. I used my M.A.C Paintly Pot for the swatches above. It really makes the blue THAT much more beautiful. The shadows are beautifully pigmented, I didn't even use a heavy hand to swatch them and these colours will have you looking Spring-y in no time.

What other colours would you want to try this season?
