I am so pleased with the quality of these shadows! They have a velvet sort of texture to them and are beautifully pigmented. I don't own a eye primer and personally don't find the need to use it, thought I understand sometimes it does make eye shadows more bright, but I don't think it's very necessary for these lovely babies! Not sure how often I would use blue, red or orange but I'm too easily amused by colourful things. A downfall of mine, prob, I know. Admittedly so, they are a bit more glittery than matte - more occasional looks, I guess, unless you're fun like that - but for that price (I got mine from a trusted seller on eBay for around AUD$15 inc. postage) you really can't complain. That's less than one eyeshadow pot from M.A.C in Aus! If you're looking for more neutral colours, try the Original pallet or Storm pallet for smokey looks. Oh, and the packaging is super-duper cute! From the neatly pressed chequered shadows to the slim "sleek" design of the pallet. Recommended!
